Last updated August 2026. This is a placeholder policy — replace with counsel-reviewed language before collecting real customer or pilot data.
Today, before any pilot is live: when you request pilot access or contact us, we collect what you provide directly — name, company, email, phone number, and details about your cataloguing workflow. Once the product is in pilot use, this will extend to item photos, descriptions, and inventory data you submit through the platform.
To respond to pilot and partnership inquiries, to understand the needs of the businesses we're building for, and — once in pilot use — to run the enhancement, description, and pricing workflow on your inventory.
Inquiry information is stored in standard business tools (email, CRM) accessible only to NorthStar's team. Storage and access details for product data (photos, listings, inventory) will be documented here before pilots begin, including hosting location and any subprocessors used.
Inquiry information is kept as long as needed to follow up, or until you ask us to delete it. Retention terms for pilot product data will be set out in each pilot agreement.
We do not use pilot customer photos, descriptions, or inventory data to train models shared with other customers without your explicit consent. Any such use will be opt-in and documented in your pilot agreement, not assumed by default.
Yes. Contact us to request deletion of your inquiry information or, once you're a pilot customer, your account and inventory data, subject to any retention we're legally required to keep.
We do not sell personal or product information to third parties.
